Chris Underhill MBE
Chris is a globally recognized social entrepreneur and expert in mental health, disability, and community development. He has founded multiple organizations, including BasicNeeds, ADD International, and Thrive, which have helped scale mental health care and inclusion efforts worldwide. A Senior Fellow of Ashoka and an awardee of the Skoll and Schwab Foundations, Chris has spent decades working to make mental health solutions more accessible. He also co-founded The Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs and previously hosted the Flourishing Minds Fund podcast.

Christie is a partnerships strategist and global health fundraiser with over a decade of experience securing investment for health-focused organizations. She has raised more than $80 million to expand access to mental health care, reproductive health, and digital health solutions. As the founder of Be Lumin and Co-Chair of Catalyst2030’s Mental Health Collaboration, she specializes in using storytelling to mobilize funding and drive action for locally-led solutions.
